Delhi → Meerut → Muzaffarnagar → Roorkee → Haridwar → Rishikesh
The route is largely comfortable, with good highways for most of the journey.
Our suggestion:
Take a breakfast or refreshment break around Muzaffarnagar or Roorkee, allowing your pet to stretch, drink water and take a proper walking break before continuing towards Rishikesh.

• Rishikesh is best suited to pets who enjoy outdoor walks, riverside surroundings and a relaxed holiday atmosphere.
• Keep your pet leashed around the Ganga, roads, viewpoints and busier public areas.
• Riverbanks can have uneven surfaces, rocks and strong currents. Keep pets safely away from deeper or fast-flowing water.
• Avoid allowing your pet to drink directly from the Ganga.
• The climate can become warm during the day, particularly outside winter. Plan longer walks during the morning or evening.
• Trails towards waterfalls can be uneven, rocky or slippery, particularly after rain.
• Tapovan can become lively and busy, so choose quieter hours if your pet is uncomfortable around crowds.
• Wildlife and forest areas around Rishikesh require extra awareness. Keep pets close and never allow them to chase or approach wildlife.
• Rajaji National Park's protected safari areas do not permit pets. Plan wildlife experiences separately.
• Carry sufficient drinking water during walks and outdoor excursions.
• For longer drives, plan regular breaks for water, toilet and movement.
• Carry your pet's regular food, water bowl, leash, waste bags, towel, bedding, basic first-aid supplies and any regular medication.

DAY 1 | DELHI → RISHIKESH
Drive from Delhi towards Rishikesh via Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Roorkee and Haridwar.
Take a comfortable break en route before continuing towards the Ganga.
Check into your riverside or nature-oriented stay and allow your pet some time to settle in.
In the evening, take a relaxed walk around the Ganga riverside or resort surroundings.
The first evening is for fresh air, a long walk and slowing down.
DAY 2 | BEATLES ASHRAM & TAPOVAN
Start the morning with a relaxed visit to the Beatles Ashram and explore its outdoor heritage surroundings where pet access is permitted.
Continue towards Tapovan for a leisurely walk and a relaxed café stop.
Return to the property for an afternoon of rest.
In the evening, head towards Triveni Ghat and experience the Ganga Aarti from an area where pets are permitted.

DAY 3 | NEER GARH & RIVERSIDE LEISURE
Start early and drive towards Neer Garh Waterfall.
Enjoy the nature trail and surrounding landscape at an easy pace, allowing your pet plenty of time to explore.

In the evening, take a quiet riverside walk or simply enjoy the property.
